Before embarking on the birth of Jane Layne Events, Erica began her career producing events for a prestigious planning firm in NYC. While there, she worked closely planning parties for high-profile clients, and with major headline entertainers allowing her to gain priceless knowledge. Erica Layne set up shop in Orlando, Florida where she spent a few years building the brand before taking her talents back to the place where she was born and raised – New York City. An entrepreneuress by nature – her split business & creative brain coupled with her calm demeanor, and talent for simultaneously managing millions of tasks make her fabulous at anything she does. As the founder of Jane Layne Events, she couples her love for wedding and event design seamlessly with her obsession for fashion in order to give her clients the most stylized fete. She is the mother to the four-legged member of the Jane Layne team; a handsome Boston Terrier named Oscar, a Penn State grad, has a serious sweet tooth, and indulges by jetsetting around the globe getting inspiration for the next affair.

As VP of Events, Rachel’s tireless pursuit of unique ideas and a desire to exceed client’s expectations allows her to successfully coordinate any event no matter how grand or small. She approaches each event with a certain je ne sais quoi and a passion to do extraordinary things. In previous roles, both as Events Director for the largest dining publication in Central Florida and a two-year stint at Ogilvy PR, she spearheaded internal and client driven events which thrived from her “mover and shaker” attitude. With her finger on the pulse of all things pop culture and the most infectious personality, Rachel is constantly producing tremendous results.
